Professor Angela Stefania Bergantino is Full Professor of Applied Economics at the Department of Economics, Management and Business Law. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Italian Society of Transport and Logistics Economics (SIET), having served as its President from 2016 to 2021 and as Secretary General since September 2012. She was a Board Member of ENAC (the Italian Civil Aviation Authority) from 2016 to 2020 and of ENAV S.p.A. (the Italian air navigation services provider) from 2020 to 2023. She is currently an Expert for the Regional Monitoring Structure of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) for Apulia. She has also been President of the National Council of Evaluation Units of Italian Universities (CONVUI) and works on the evaluation of universities, research institutions, and public bodies in general. She is Rector’s Delegate for NRRP-funded projects on sustainable mobility and Measure No. 9 “Economic and financial sustainability of systems and territories.” At the Department of Economics, Management and Business Law, she coordinates the PhD Program in Economics and Management and directs the Laboratory of Applied Economics (LEA). Within the GRINS project, she has established and coordinates the Mobility Research Center and the Multidisciplinary Research Lab.
