THEMATIC AREA
This research stream is dedicated to studying, through a multidisciplinary approach, the impact of cultural and social participation on economic inclusion and social sustainability in the era of digital transformation.
It examines how new technologies influence participation in cultural and social domains and develops new indices to measure this participation, taking into account the various forms of digital-related consumption and engagement.
A key focus is on assessing how these forms of participation affect the economic resilience of territories, exploring the link between cultural and social activities and the robustness of local economies. The aim is to provide data and analyses that can guide the development of more inclusive and sustainable policies in the current digital context.
