The research activities focus on digital finance, financial inclusion, and green and youth entrepreneurship. The aim is to enhance financial inclusion and access to funding for individuals and SMEs by combining digital and traditional instruments.

The initiative also seeks to leverage digital technologies to refine risk assessments in entrepreneurial finance and to increase participation in capital markets, in line with the creation of the EU Capital Markets Union, with a particular focus on new green enterprises and youth entrepreneurship.

Key activities include defining measures to promote inclusiveness in capital markets, from both the supply and demand sides. Special attention is given to improving access to financial markets and sustainable finance, especially for SMEs, new green businesses, and youth entrepreneurship.

Furthermore, the project aims to develop the inclusivity potential of digital finance by providing financing opportunities for small investors and managing the inherent risks of digital finance, including through the use of artificial intelligence. These initiatives are designed to improve access to and management of financial resources in an increasingly digital environment oriented towards sustainability and innovation.
