This research stream studies the socio-economic and biophysical impacts of climate change and develops scenarios for effective mitigation and adaptation strategies.

This research stream focuses on the general implications of climate change, studying the socio-economic and biophysical impacts of a changing climate.

Accordingly, it produces scenarios - under different assumptions, timelines, and with specific focuses - of how the world would evolve if the major investments required to tackle climate change were implemented.
